What is Lutein and how does it work?
Lutein
(pronounced LOO-teen) is a yellow-to-orange phytochemical (Chemicals
naturally found in fruits, vegetables, nuts and legumes that may have a
positive impact on your health). It is a carotenoid, meaning a natural
colorant or pigment, found in dark green leafy vegetables such as
spinach, plus various fruits and corn. Egg yolks are also sources of
Lutein.Lutein
provides nutritional support to our eyes and skin ï¾– the only organs of
the body directly exposed to the outside environment. Lutein has been
linked to promoting healthy eyes through reducing the risk of macular
degeneration. Other studies suggest that a mixture of nutrients,
including lutein, may provide supplemental antioxidant capacity to the
skin, helping counteract free radical damage.Why is lutein important in our diet?- Simply
put, lutein is an antioxidant that appears to quench or reduce harmful
free radicals in various parts of the body. Free radicals can play a
role in a variety of chronic diseases.
- Reducing
the risk of developing eye cataracts, when high amounts of lutein are
obtained from the diet. It is not known if lutein supplements offer the
same benefit.
- An
eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. Limited research suggests that
lutein might be helpful in the treatment of retinitis pigmentosa.
- Colon
cancer. People who get a lot of lutein from their diet seem to have a
lower risk of developing colon cancer. But itï¾’s not known whether lutein
supplements provide the same benefit.
- Breast cancer. Higher levels of lutein in the blood seem to be linked with a reduced risk of developing breast cancer.

We
stand behind every item we sell. If you are not satisfied with your
purchase for any reason, simply return the unused portion (unfortunately
we cannot process empty containers as returns) in original packaging
with your invoice within 14 days from delivery date for a prompt refund
less shipping.
Please contact us for authorization before returning product, unauthorized returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Only
one opened item of the same product is eligible for return. All others
of the same item must be in factory sealed original packaging for a
refund.
If more than 10 items from the order are returned, a 15% restocking fee will be applied.
We cannot process returns after 30 days.
For items damaged in transit:
USPS damaged item notice has to be sent to us to claim replacement.
The damaged product has to be returned to make the claim.

wrong shipment has to be returned UN-opened and in original condition
along with the packing slip and buyer will be charged if the item is not
received in original condition.
